Portugal Surf Camp for Beginners or Intermediate In the north of Portugal - Porto - Vila do Conde

In the charming town of Vila do Conde, ( 25 min from Porto ) you will have the beach and the ocean at the end of the street (1 minute walk!)
And with two surf spots at 5 minutes walk distance
You can join our surfing lessons/ training programs or you can just rent boards and wetsuits - on place - and - free Surf as you want
ABOUT US
Raised on these waters, I’v been surfing for more than 30 years and still on it
I like to share my experiences and for me surfing is much more than a sport/hobbie and i think that in a certain way each year i'm getting more into the - introspective/meditative side of surfing
In the past I used to compete a bit and I’m a certified FPS (Portuguese Surfing Federation) coach and all my team/collaborators also are FPS certified and experienced surfers.
I use to paddle out in different boards and stances but my favorite stance is – dropknee!
I founded The Conde surf camp to share the stoke and make you have a good time here in the water and at my loved hometown
And - You can book the entire surf house exclusively for you / your group / your family - PRIVATE SURF CAMP !!!
THE HOUSE
At a premium location, in the heart of the old traditional seaside/bathing neighborhood of the charmy town of Vila do Conde, you will have the beach and the surf literally at the end of the street - on a minute walk.
Mostly made with sustainable and organic/eco friendly materials, actually part of the furniture was made recycling parts/pieces of my previous business, I can tell you that story later)
The house is fully equipped with boards and suits that you can rent for your sessions, and have a mixed dorm with 8 cozy capsule beds and double bathroom (shower/toilets and washbasin all x 2)
Nice living room with TV and sofas and fully equipped kitchnette
And two exterior spaces with barbecue, perfect - for after surf relaxation
THE CITY / REGION
The beautiful ancient town of Vila do Conde, 20km north from Porto is a - must in the region.
Known for his participation on the Portuguese discoveries era ( wood ship builders and sailors)
beautiful beaches and neighborhoods (old traditional seaside resort) and for be the home/inspiration for some famous poets/writers and artists along the time.
Also known for fishery (fresh fish to place directly in our barbecue!!) and conventual sweets
When not surfing, you always have a beautiful beach to enjoy at the end of the street, with nice beach bars, restaurants /'movida' and of course - a whole charmy old city to walk around and discover – and - i will give you some hints - of course!
SURFCAMP / LESSONS / RENTALS
You can book the entire house only for your group of friends - PRIVATE SURF CAMP!
You can schedule private or group beginner/intermediate level classes.
We also rent boards and suits at the camp.
These activities will be organized on site and scheduled according to sea conditions and your preferences
My coaches and I are FPS certified and we are – experienced surfers.
All Surfing activities are covered by insurance.
