You can join all other activities besides the surf course.
Yoga: 2 times a week we will offer one hour of yoga. The lesson will give you an introduction to yoga and is especially targeted at surfers. Many pro-surfers and more and more soul surfers realize that yoga and surfing are the perfect team. Pro-surfer Rochelle Ballard said: "I think that the combination of power and flexibility is briliant as well the effect it has on your mind". When we are surfing we use certain muscle groups which we can relax again after surfing during the yoga sessions. Yoga also helps to focus your mind. You will master your fears because you can face them with ease and energy. Yoga combines power, body tension, mobility, flexibility, balance, calmness, peace and a strong mind. Components which we need in the line-up while catching waves. Yoga is included in the WaveSisters camp price.
Lanzarote: Lanzarote is one of seven Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast. The small but varied island is a wonderful oasis. They say the island has a very intense energy. Maybe the secret lies in the mix of…the vulcanos - not only in the Timanfaya National Park the green, vegetated North the buildings inspired by the island's artist Cesar Manrique and the all-embracing Atlantic which sends its waves towards the coast of Lanzarote.
Caleta de Famara: Located in the northwest of the island where the wind and the waves dictate the days. Famara is the centre of surf culture in Lanzarote. During daytime you will find the surfer girls and boys on their boards in the water, in the ocean. At night they all meet in the bars, restaurants, surfshops and supermarkets to happily talk about their wonderful day of surfing. The village is located at the west end of the 6 km long beach of Famara. The 600 metres high cliff line "El Risco" guards the village to the east - simply breathtaking. Every evening at sunset you will find a unique play of colours surrounding the cliff line. The bay, the cliffs, the island offshore in the north and the majority of landscape around the village form the nature reserve "Archipielago Chinijo". The unique flora and fauna deserve protection - on land as well as in the water. The closest town Teguise can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.
