Our family surf camp is set in a camping park in a little town next to Porto, it is 7 mins walk to the local beach and 15 mins drive to the surfing spot. The camp has been created with families in mind as the owner is also the proud dad of 2 beautiful boys. The camp has a swimming pool, sports court, playground, and our nannies will look after the kids while parents surf or practice yoga. This is the perfect beach and surf holiday for families with children of any age from babies to teenagers and young adults.
Your health is our first priority. We are considered a safe and clean establishment by Turismo de Portugal, the official Tourism Office in Portugal. This means we follow all the health and safety protocols recommended by the DGS (Portuguese Health Authority) to protect our guests and our employees.
Your family will be sharing a spacious tipi tent for four people. The tents are equipped with one double and two single beds, all with comfortable mattresses, bedding, and linen. Also, you’ll find storage space and electricity with light inside your tent. We’ll provide you with dishes and cutlery for the full family. In case you wish to book a separate accommodation for your older kids or are a family bigger than 4, you can opt for our mini tipi with two additional beds. In our community area, you’ll find an open and equipped kitchen with fridges, microwave, pans, and several hobs you can use.
Our family package includes a breakfast buffet and on five evenings per week, the restaurant will cook international or Portuguese dishes based on your preference accompanied by fresh salad and dessert. We also cater to vegetarian and vegan diets. Two days a week you will have the opportunity to discover the local restaurants and the city of Porto to dive into the Portuguese culture.
On-spot activities include surf lessons for kids, surf lessons for parents, and yoga lessons. The lessons are taught in English, but our instructors speak German, French, Spanish, too. A nanny service during the adult surf and yoga lessons is included in your stay. We also offer a variety of other activities and services on camp, such as skating, massages, kids' animation.
