Makarori is just a short drive from Gisborne on New Zealands East Coast. The Region here is even more laid back than the rest of the country. The righthander breaks of the headland on the southend of the bay. However it is said to be pretty fickle. Thus you need to get lucky to get the point working really well. In any case you will some waves around here, the beach works really well as well especially if the swell is too small for the point.
